Patti Miller
Patti has been homeschooling her six children for more than twenty years, providing their education from birth through high school. Three of her children are in or have graduated from college, while the younger ones are fifteen, twelve and nine. She has taught homeschool co-op classes, and currently assists with her daughter's Girl Scout Troop. She also works part time at a small credit union.
She follows a "semi-unschooling" approach to homeschooling, meaning that she and her children do some basic academic bookwork each morning, but leave afternoons free for exploration and personal projects.
In her spare time, Patti enjoys reading, genealogy, music, gardening, and walking. She also loves vegetarian cooking, having given up meat at age fourteen.
